BioMin Technologies Ltd was established in 2014 to commercialise research conducted over the past decade at Queen Mary University London and Imperial College, London, to develop bioactive materials to reduce tooth sensitivity (Dentine Hypersensitivity) and to strengthen and protect tooth enamel. 

BioMin’s technology received the 2013 Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers’ Venture Prize for innovation. BioMin’s technology is based on two key patent applications. The first is on Fluoride containing bioactive particles. The second is on Chloride containing bioactive particles.

BioMin Technologies works with Cera Dynamics Ltd to create the bioactive particles.
