Victoria Wilson

Victoria Wilson,
Dental Hygienist and Founder of the Smile Revolution

Victoria began her journey as a Dental Therapist at the Eastman Dental Hospital London in 2001. Her professional experience spans over 2 continents, having worked within practice in the UK, both NHS and private sector, and the UAE private sector.

She is the Founder and former President of the Emirates Dental Hygienist Club. She held the position of Website Officer on Council for the British Association of Dental Therapists (BADT), and has been a member of the House of Delegates for the International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH) and has sat on the Communication and Public Relations committee for the IFDH. 

Victoria currently consults and is a KOL for multiple industry leaders and runs the Smile Revolution and oral health promotional hub that utilizes a range of communication channels in promoting Oral Health. The Smile Revolution podcast has nearly 6,000 listeners around the world.

Sir Paul Beresford

Sir Paul Beresford,
Dentist and MP for Mole Valley

New Zealander by birth and education. 

Sir Paul's dental career is extensive, having practised in East London, South-West London can currently back in South-West London. Practice was initially in NHS followed by mixed NHS / private, and finally private only. 

His political career began as Wandsworth Conservative Councillor, Conservative Leader Wandsworth Council, Conservative MP Croydon Central, Minister in Department of Environment and currently Mole Valley MP. 

Sir Paul is a member of numerous committees including, House of Commons Commission, Chairman of the Administration Committee, Chairman of the Dental APPG.

Emma Pacey

Emma Pacey,
Dental Therapist, Educationalist with a special interest in Dental Public Health

Emma is currently Regional Lead for Dental Therapy at HEE LaKSS and Oral Health Promotion Lead at King's Community Special Care Department. Emma has postgraduate qualifications in clinical dentistry, education and dental public health. She has over a decade of experience in primary and secondary care and undergraduate education and has more recently focused on postgraduate education, public health and research. She is a member of several steering groups.

Nigel Carter

Dr. Nigel Carter, 
Chief Executive of the Oral Health Foundation

Dr Carter has been a dentist for more than four decades and started his career as a general dental practitioner with a mixed NHS and private practice based in Birmingham.

He has been CEO of the Oral Health Foundation for the last 23 years and is a previous Trustee and Chairman of the charity. 

He is immediate past Chair of the Platform for Better Oral Health in Europe.

He is also current Chair of the Royal Society for Public Health and its precursor the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health,and has broad interests in public health and the social determinants of health.

Ferranti Wong

Prof. Ferranti Wong,
Professor of Paediatric Dentistry QMUL


Prof. Ferranti Wong is also a Council Member and Chair of SAB (Paed Dent) of FDS, RCSEd. He was interim Dean and Director of the dental institute and Associate Dental Dean of the London Deanery.

He is fully engaged in dental education and specialty training, being Course Director of DClinDent programme, Examiner of MPaedDent and ISFE, and External Examiner in other universities for both UG and PG programmes. His research interests include caries prevention, de-and re-mineralisation with novel biomaterials, and clinical management. He has obtained grants for clinical trials from NIHR. Professor Wong’s clinical interests are management of MIH, hypodontia, dental trauma, and developmental anomalies. He has an international reputation and has been invited as a keynote speaker at many conferences.

Robert Hill

Prof. Robert Hill,
Director and Chief Scientific Officer of BioMin Technologies

Robert Hill currently holds the Chair of Physical Sciences in the Dental Institute at Queen Mary University of London. He is an expert on bioactive glass and apatite chemistry. 

He was formerly Professor of Biomaterials at Imperial College. Robert was part of the Materials Group at LGC that won the Queens Award for Technological Achievements in 1984. In 2019 he received the Varshneya Award from the American Ceramic Society for his pioneering research into halogen bioactive glasses for dental applications.
