BioMin® F clinically proven to be superior in the management of dentine hypersensitivity

Method
A total of 75 patients clinically diagnosed with dentine hypersenstitivity were randomly divided into three groups:
Group A
5% fluorocalcium phosphosilicate (BioMin® F)
Group B
8% arginine and calcium carbonate*
Group C
Placebo
Dentine hypersensitivity was evaluated by tactile and evaporative stimuli, and a visual analogue scale (VAS) was used for evaporative stimuli at pre-baseline, baseline (15 days) and post-baseline (1 month).
Conclusion
BioMin® F
showed a better reduction of dentine hypersensitivity than the other two groups.BioMin® F
was proven to be clinically superior to the other toothpastes in the management of dentine hypersensitivity.
